Donna
Registered Dental Hygienist
Donna is the newest member
of the Tomase Dental Care team and they feel blessed to have found her! Donna
graduated from Owens Community College in 1983 with her degree in Applied
Health Science and began practicing dental hygiene immediately. Since that
time, she has furthered her education with a variety of courses including a
focus on Periodontal Disease. Married for many years to Keith, they share three
sons and two grandchildren. Outside of the office, Donna is very active in her
church, finds time to scrapbook and weather permitting, she may pass you on her
bicycle. Donna shares with our guests that she is amazed by the care that is
provided in the office and is proud to be a part of such a caring team.
Stacy
Certified Dental Assistant
Stacy has
been Dr. Tomase's dental assistant for 16 years. She received her education and
training from Penta County Vocational, Midwest Implant Institute and Jamison
Consulting. As Dr. Tomase's primary chairside assistant, she has many
responsibilities. She not only assists Dr. Tomase, she ensures patient comfort,
helps deliver a positive dental experience to the patient and provides dental
education. She also has lab and administrative responsibilities. She is
currently studying to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. During her
time away from the office, Stacy enjoys all types of exercising; she goes to
the gym regularly and enjoys biking when the weather permits. As a new college
student, studying also occupies much of her spare time. A member of a
close-knit family, she is an animal lover and the owner of two great dogs.
Taylor
Dental Assistant
Taylor
received her training from Toledo Dental Academy and joined Dr. Tomase's team
as a dental assistant in 2010. In her position, she assists Dr. Tomase during
treatment, prepares the cleaning and treatment rooms, keeps items stocked and
charts procedures. She loves giving people the self-confidence to happily
display a beautiful smile. She feels Tomase Dental Care is a very unique
practice, saying, "The people that make up our team are very welcoming and friendly."
In addition to being a dental assistant, Taylor is also a licensed
cosmetologist and a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant.
Kate
Office Manager
Katie has
been in dentistry for 25 years and has been Dr. Tomase's office manager
for
over 5 years. She has received education and training in the dental
field from
The Pride Institute, The Levin Group, The Pankey Institute, The Las
Vegas
Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, Jamison Consulting -Laura
Jamison,
Advanced Hygiene Concepts, Dental Boot Camp, Dale Carnegie and Bob
Maccario's
Dental Concierge. As office manager, she works with the team to provide a
high
standard of care in an atmosphere that is incredible for their guests.
She
helps meet the needs of patients, from treatment to finances. Kate
enjoys the rewarding
relationships she and the team have with their guests. She feels that
the
caring manner and personalities of Dr. Tomase and the entire team set
this
practice apart from others. When not in the office, Kate's family is her
favorite past-time. She is a wife, mother of two adult sons and the
grandmother
of an incredible grandson. The family enjoys their farm and many other
small
town activities. She can be found working in the yard, camping,
painting,
wallpapering or at her grandson's sporting and scouting events.
